Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the 'Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the 'User' or 'you') and CIVPN ('we', 'us', or the 'Provider') governing your access to and use of the website, clients (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux), and all related services.
By registering an account, downloading the client, purchasing a plan, or using the Service in any other way, you represent that you have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service and close your account immediately.
Continued use of the Service constitutes ongoing acceptance of the version of the Terms currently in effect.
Service Description
CIVPN provides services including but not limited to: VPN client applications, global node access, account management systems, and internal ticket support.
The Service is provided on an 'as-is' basis.We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding continuous availability, specific connection speeds, access to specific content, or fitness for any particular purpose.
We reserve the right to do the following without prior notice:
- Modify, update, suspend, or permanently terminate any part of the Service features;
- Upgrade or adjust node regions, protocol types, or client versions;
- Temporarily interrupt the Service for legal requirements, technical maintenance, or operational needs.
Account Registration & Security
When registering, you must provide accurate and complete info and update it promptly if it changes. The user assumes all liability for account issues or losses caused by false information.
You are responsible for all activity under your account, whether authorized by you or not. Keep your credentials secure and never share them with third parties. Notify us immediately via ticket if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Single Account Limit:Each user is limited to one account. Using multiple accounts to claim free data or referral rewards is a violation, and we reserve the right to terminate all related accounts and forfeit rewards without notice.
- Non-Transferability:Your account and its benefits (plans, balance, data) belong solely to the registered user and may not be sold, transferred, gifted, or assigned to any third party.
- Age Requirement:You must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Service.
Subscriptions & Billing
We offer four plan tiers; all tiers provide identical node access, connection speeds, and features:

New users receive a free data allowance upon registration to test the Service before purchasing a plan.
Billing Rules:
- Account balance (including referral rewards) is always applied first; any remaining cost is covered via third-party payment.
- All plans require manual one-time payment anddo not auto-renew. You will never be charged without your knowledge.
- Referral rewards are for internal credit only,cannot be withdrawn, and are non-refundable upon account closure.
Refund Policy
Generally, the Servicedoes not support no-reason refunds. All payments are considered final once processed.
Refund requests will only be considered in the following limited cases:
- Total service failure caused by the Provider that persists beyond a reasonable timeframe and cannot be resolved within a reasonable period;
- Verified duplicate charges for the same order.
Refund requests must be submitted via our ticket system with valid proof of purchase.All refund decisions are at the sole discretion of the Provider.The following scenarios do NOT qualify for a refund:
- Old data being cleared after a manual new plan purchase;
- Inability to use the Service due to user-side issues (device incompatibility, change of mind, account ban for violations);
- Failure to meet subjective expectations (e.g., inability to unlock specific regional content).
User Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
- Technical Attacks:Launching network attacks, DDoS, port scanning, or any form of technical interference against our infrastructure, nodes, or other users;
- Fraud & Abuse:Using multiple accounts or automation to manipulate free data or referral rewards;
- Illegal Content:Transmitting or storing any content that violates applicable laws, including but not limited to infringing materials, child pornography, or malware;
- Commercial Resale:Reselling, distributing, or providing access to the Service for profit without written authorization;
- Reverse Engineering:Attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract source code from our clients;
- Other Violations:Any conduct that harms other users, damages our reputation, or violates local regulations.
Intellectual Property
All software, code, designs, text, graphics, trademarks, and branding associated with the Service ('Intellectual Property') are owned by or licensed to CIVPN and are protected by applicable laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you alimited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocablelicense to use the Service. This license does NOT include the right to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the client software;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code;
- Use any part of the Service for commercial purposes;
- Remove or modify any copyright or trademark notices.
Any unauthorized use may constitute an infringement of our rights, and we reserve the right to take legal action.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided 'as-is' and 'as-available' without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
- No guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or delay-free;
- No guarantee that the Service will meet your specific needs (e.g., unlocking specific content);
- No guarantee that data transmission via the VPN is 100% secure in all scenarios;
- No representations regarding the accuracy or legality of third-party content or websites;
- No liability for interruptions caused by Force Majeure (natural disasters, government actions, infrastructure failures, etc.).
These disclaimers apply to the fullest extent permitted by local law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
- Lost profits, data loss, or business interruption resulting from use or inability to use the Service;
- Damages caused by third-party actions or content.
In no event shall our total cumulative liability exceed the amount you actually paid us in the period immediately preceding the claim.
Termination
User Termination:You may close your account at any time via our ticket system. Upon closure, all remaining data and balance will be forfeited and are non-refundable.
Provider Termination:We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account without notice and without refund if:without prior noticeimmediately suspend or permanently terminate your account without any refund obligation:
- You violate these Terms;
- We suspect fraud, abuse, or illegal activity;
- Required by law or regulatory authorities;
- Your conduct harms other users or the normal operation of the Service.
Provisions regarding IP, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.Significant changes will be notified via:
- Notification email to your registered address;
- Announcement on our website or login screen;
- Updating the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this page.
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service and close your account.
